This is a day-long continuing education conference celebrating young people's reading choices and investigating the book choices we make as professional librarians and teachers behind the scenes.
• A keynote address by noted Young Adult Author and Freedom to Read Advocate Chris Crutcher;
• A panel featuring editors and reviewers from review journals Booklist Magazine, The Bulletin of the Center for Children's Books, and The Horn Book and Kirkus Reviews
• An interactive session where presenters and attendees share some of the best (and worst) book choices they have made.
The day concludes with a champagne reception in the new Butler Center.
