The LIS LibGuide at The University of Iowa Libraries
The School collaborates with several other academic units across the University such as the Colleges of Engineering, Medicine, Nursing and the Departments of Computer Science and Management Science to offer an interdisciplinary certificate and Ph.D. in Health Informatics.

The 20 course credit Certificate includes two core courses: Health Informatics I and Health Informatics II. Electives may be selected in consultation with the HI advisor.
The 76 credit Ph.D. curriculum follows the overall plan outlined by the Graduate College. An interdisciplinary team of professors advises the students through the program of study.
The course of study and research plan is designed to accommodate the student's background and research interests. Further information on the Health Informatics Initiative may be obtained from http://informatics.grad.uiowa.edu.
